Our Story
Andy & Chris
Andy is very much used to the day to day running of a pub as he used to manage a Bar/Bistro in Gloucestershire and also a pub that was located on a Holiday Park, Andy's main background is Holiday park management along with the pubs that he's had to manage on sites etc

Chris's background for the last 10 years has mainly been retail, so he is used to dealing with customers from all walks of life, plus his customer service skills our amazing
Taking on The Sneyd Arms happened a little like a whirlwind, taking on a pub was not on the agenda but we were talking one day and just so happened to have a browse, found a couple we like which were trading already, met with the regional manager and was asked if we would look at this pub, we agreed and met the next day, now knowing the pub has been shut for almost 14 months didn't put us off, nor that it was a little dated inside, what you will find with Andy & Chris is they are not afraid of hard work, Andy having the knowledge to pick something up of the floor is a challenge but one that makes him sleep better at night.

So it won't be long, we do have some work to do inside, we take the keys on 1st March and if you are passing then although we won't be open initially for drinks, if the coffee machine has arrived then pop in for a chat and a coffee on us and lets get The Sneyd Arms back to a place it belongs.
What are our plans?
We will be up and running asap to serve drinks that's for sure, we will also be investing in a coffee machine and offer a more affordable cuppa, so coffee mornings will be on the cards.

Weekly Events will take place, fairly busy schedule to be fair, with Karaoke, Cash Bingo and a Quiz along with live events possibly once per month to start.
​
As for food, this is something that we are hoping to introduce, starting maybe for lunchtimes with fresh sandwiches and a few cakes, and then a basic food menu will come a little later down the line with desserts, so quite a lot going on and we can't wait to meet you all.
